Vintage 1936 softcover cookbook ~ Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book, Fine Old Recipes ~ 48 pages, published by the Culinary Arts Press in Reading, Pennsylvania. A collection of recipes compiled from tried and tested recipes made famous and handed down by the early Dutch settlers in Pennsylvania. First 2 pages (before the title page, even) is a wonderful collection of Pennsylvania Dutch poems by William J. Meter. Delicious recipes accompanied by reproductions of pen-and-ink drawings, historical anecdotes, translations, and more.
Condition as shown, a bit of edge wear to covers and bottom edge of first page else pages are clean and unmarked with typical tanning, overall very good vintage condition!
