As originally published in 1904 this volume is not only a beautiful pictorial representation of Kentucky's famous horse farms. It is an early example of publishing ventures inspired by turn-of-the-century advances and economies in photography, engraving and printing.
Pasted into front fixed end paper is a pin back circle tag from
Keeneland, dated april 19, 1980, for box 13.
Condition: Very good with very slight marks to leather, a half centimeter tear at top front joint (see close-up photograph). 200 pages, oblong folio; 23 x 30 cm., green padded leather, gilt front deco. and titles, blank spine.
