A delicious collection of springtime recipes based on the fruit and vegetables available during the spring. The author draws special attention to asparagus, which may be made into soups, salads, garnishings, or a plain vegetable accompaniment. A wonderful collection of Hungarian recipes, Hungarian cuisine offers a great deal more than the hot spicy dishes with which it is often often associated. 

Beautifully illustrated throughout. Some of the recipes include: Palots Soup, Stuffed Chard Leaves, Lemon Sausages with creamy Asparagus, Smoked trout with Dill Yoghurt (sic), Cottage Cheese Dumplings with Strawberry Whip, Caviar Snacks, Hungarian Style Green Pea Soup, Asparagus Salad, and much more.
