Exceptionally rare. A collection of children's stories, facts and sketches, with detailed engraving illustrations. From the Worthington Company's "Artistic Juveniles" series.

Not paginated, about 100 pages more or less, quarto (10" X 7 1/2:), glossy color paper over boards, color frontispiece, quarter bound with gold buckram, steel engraving illustrations throughout.
Good. Securely bound, clean, unmarked. Pages are a smooth finished clay-coat, barely tanned and quite supple. Mild foxing on the end papers and title page with a few mild spots on the interior pages but not extensively so. Outer board graphics are singularly bright and clean with only mild wear to corner tips and mild checking along the edges.
